Agile Transformation efforts have been running full steam now for well over 10 years with precious little real change delivered to the entire organization.

There is a reason for this and it revolves around the fact that virtually all of the Agile efforts are centered around improving Software Development.  

Changing the way we develop software is a great endeavor but what we have failed to realize is that in fact we need the entire organization to change to an Agile paradigm.

The frameworks that we leverage today such as:

  1. Scrum
  2. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  3. LeSS - Large Scale Scrum
  4. XP
  5. DAD

Are not sufficient to effectively change your entire organization because these frameworks are optimized for software development and focus on changing the flow of work to your development group.  

This change in flow is where Agile has failed to change to how the organization operates holistically.

At SoundAgile we have developed an approach that focuses on organizational behaviors of:

Though we can leverage Agile frameworks they will not, on their own, bring about true organizational Agility.  TAP leverages frameworks to help build and strengthen your pillars but the remainder of your Agile adoption is much more about understanding the underlying organizational behavior changes neccessary to delivery large scale change. 

TAP to change incorporates organizational change management that utilizes, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Change Management and Organizational Design along with the Agile frameworks that exist today.
